In 2002 Sherry and Brett Rowley started Off Duty Services (ODS) which was specifically designed to manage the off duty police opportunity. Later, they began to realize that there was an opportunity to combine both security guards and off duty cops under one company, which was the genesis of AmeriCop.
After 14+ years of phenomenal growth and with primarily large Fortune 500 companies as customers with national needs, Sherry and Brett realized that there was a missed opportunity for providing both security guards and off duty cops at the local level.
