Insurance Requirements (*):

As an AmeriCop franchisee, you will be required to carry various insurance policies for your business.  Given that the AmeriCop solution provides both security guards and off duty police officers for security, comprehensive insurance is important.  In fact, this very issue can be a point of significant exposure for those businesses that hire off duty police directly and in turn becomes a strong value proposition for new AmeriCop sales

    • Comprehensive General Liability Insurance, One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) combined single limit per occurrence, Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000) general aggregate.
    • An “umbrella” policy providing excess coverage with limits of not less than One Million Dollars ($1,000,000), which must be excess to the general liability, automobile, and worker’s compensation coverage.
    • Automobile liability coverage, including coverage of owned, non‑owned and hired vehicles, with coverage in amounts not less than One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) combined single limit.
    • Worker’s Compensation insurance with employer liability limit of bodily injury by accident One Million Dollars ($1,000,000).

(*)  We may specify additional reasonable coverage and higher policy limits from time to time in writing. Such policy or policies shall be written by a responsible carrier or carriers rated "A-" or better by the A.M. Best Company, Inc. and otherwise reasonably acceptable to us.
